Getting around: A city shuttle picks up at the hotel and takes guests to the beach. Otherwise, the hotel’s quiet location means a car is necessary to travel to shops, restaurants, and visitor attractions. Driving the area’s main arteries east-west (to both coasts) and north-south (Fort Lauderdale to Miami) is typically smooth and fast. Traffic is much slower along coastal A1A but A1A provides the best scenery.
